Job summary

Nassal Fabrication Services Inc. in Orlando, FL invites a Fabrication Student to join our Nassal office for a hands-on internship from May through August.

You will assist with fabrication nuances, shop drawings, and cost considerations while supporting project teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering or construction management degree with strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with MS Office and construction-industry software knowledge.
• Authorized to work in the US; 18+; available to work in Orlando, FL, full-time May–August.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and shop drawings to ensure necessary information for fabrication.
• Update the inventory management system and provide tags to foremen.
• Assist with cost projections during production reviews.
• Assist with determining trackable production units for the scope of work.
• Document items per specifications and save in Work Order folders.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support profitability culture and solution-oriented approach.
• Other duties as assigned.
