Job summary

Nassal Construction Inc in Orlando, FL is seeking a Construction Student to join Nassal/nFusion as part of the PCL family. This internship runs May through August and offers hands-on exposure to field and office activities.

You will assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents, read drawings, log submittals, prepare reports, and attend meetings. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and construction software.
• Authorized to work in the US and able to work in Orlando, FL.
• 18+ with valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
• Conduct safety audits and quality audits.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Log submittals, process RFIs, and prepare reports.
• Assist with surveying and project layout.
• Coordinate material deliveries and documentation.
• Attend relevant project meetings.
• Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing.
