Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment on a busy shop floor in Indiana. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will diagnose issues with welders, conveyors, and finishing equipment and may operate forklifts. Prior welding and machine operation experience is highly valued, with training provided for Lift Truck operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in machine operation and repair is preferred.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
• Lift truck operation experience is preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of operations/production equipment.
• Safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and power tools; welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with welders, torches, saws, and finishing equipment in a timely fashion.
• Diagnose/maintain/install production hoists and overhead roll doors as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping and implement 5S standards.
• Observe safety rules and promote safety of systems and equipment.
