Atkore International in Binghamton NY is seeking a Fabrication Operator II for 7:00am - 7:00pm. You will safely bend elbows/sweeps and package finished product, keeping areas safe and organized. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and prior manufacturing experience are preferred.

The role reports to the Fabrication Manager and involves QA, machining, and safe operation of saws and equipment, with a focus on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Complete QA and Work Order paperwork correctly and accurately.
• Produce quality swedge and repair couplings that meet or exceed QA specifications.
• Test and measure product to ensure conformance to specifications and market requirements.
• Change out bell pins and strip plates.
• Safely produce straight cuts on table and chop saws.
• Record scrap product accurately.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning for production and storage areas.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
