Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Fabrication Operator II based in Binghamton, NY, for a 7:00am–7:00pm shift. The role focuses on bending elbows/sweeps and packaging finished product, with a requirement to lift up to 50 pounds and uphold safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Primary duties include QA, producing swedges and repairing couplings to QA specs, and recording production data. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, with benefits and overtime potential available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete QA and Work Order paperwork correctly and accurately.
• Produce quality swedge and repair couplings that meet QA specifications.
• Test and measure product to ensure conformance with specifications; end product meets market requirements.
• Change out bell pins and strip plates.
• Safely produce straight cuts on table saw and chop saw.
• Record scrap product accurately.
• Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE.
