Eaton in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift. Core hours are 5AM-3PM, Monday through Thursday. The role offers $20 per hour with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals per blueprints and operate multiple machines including shear, Finn Power, Prima, Horizontal Brakes/Benders, and Trumpf Laser. Emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No immigration sponsorship or STEM OPT support for this position.
• Relocation benefits not offered; candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals according to blueprints.
• Set up, operate and maintain machines (shear, Finn Power, Prima, horizontal brakes, Trumpf laser).
• Measure finished parts with tape measure or calipers; inspect for quality.
• Cross-train and stand in for other roles as needed.
• Identify process improvements and perform root cause analyses.
• Communicate equipment issues and improvement ideas to supervision.
