Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Machine Operator in Sumter, SC. You will fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum according to blueprints and work with a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. The role requires setup, operation, and basic maintenance of multiple machines.

The position features a Friday–Sunday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with an hourly rate of $18.50 and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of machine operator experience or machine certificate program.
• Legal work authorization for the United States without sponsorship.
• Sumter area residency within 50 miles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum per blueprints.
• Set up, operate and perform periodic maintenance on machines.
• Measure finished parts and inspect for quality using calipers/measurements.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity goals; cross-train as needed.
