Job summary

Sanmina Fremont is seeking a Fabrication Production Manager to direct manufacturing and production activities for complex fabricated sheet metal, tubular frames, final assembly and test. The role focuses on optimizing shop floor processes, ensuring quality, meeting schedules, and maintaining a safe working environment aligned with Plant Manager goals.

You will lead multiple departments (sheet metal, welding, powder coat, final assembly, testing), drive Lean and 5S, monitor OEE and scrap, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules across departments to meet on-time delivery targets.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives (5S, Standard Work, Waste Reduction).
• Monitor OEE, scrap rate, and labor utilization; take corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate with Engineering to introduce new products (NPI) into production and resolve issues.
