Job summary

Sanmina Fremont in Silicon Valley seeks an Assembly Production Manager to lead and optimize our high‑volume fabrication operations on the shop floor. You will oversee daily assembly processes, coach supervisors and technicians, and drive safe, on‑time production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in assembly/manufacturing leadership, hands-on Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and experience with ERP/MES (SAP or Oracle). This ITAR facility requires US citizenship or lawful permanent residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years leadership in assembly/manufacturing.
• Strong familiarity with manual, semi-automated, or automated assembly and material-handling systems.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MES.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• US citizenship or lawful permanent resident due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assembly lines and shifts to meet daily schedules.
• Lead supervisors and technicians, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Identify bottlenecks using Lean/Six Sigma tools to improve throughput.
• Partner with QA to monitor defects and drive corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, labor, equipment utilization, and material workflows.
