Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of fabrication manufacturing experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, material handling, and production workflows.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily fabrication operations across 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Lead, coach, and develop fabrication team members to improve performance, productivity, and engagement.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Schedule manpower and production resources to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of fabrication equipment (Laser Cutting, CNC Press Brakes, Powder Coating, Copper Punch).
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment, tooling, and production issues.
• Verify product quality through inspections against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning to optimize processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Conduct shift turnover meetings and maintain effective communication between shifts.
• Support preventive maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Manage attendance, performance evaluations, and workforce development.
• Ensure proper inventory control of production materials, tooling, and consumables.
