Job summary

CB&I is seeking a Materials Control Specialist to oversee material management within a fabrication shop. You will ensure traceability through receiving, fabrication, and shipping, while conforming to project requirements and management system guidelines.

Reports to the Area Welding & QA Manager and interfaces with project teams. Key duties include inspecting materials, maintaining records, managing non-conformances, and preparing daily to monthly control reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials, or related field.
• Three years of materials control shop experience.
• Experience with material records, MTRs/COCs, and ship/receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and assure compliance with the organization’s management system and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project deliverables related to materials control.
• Perform receiving inspections and verify materials meet PO requirements.
