Job summary

Boh Bros. Construction Co., L.L.C. is seeking a Fabrication Quality Control Technician to ensure fabrication activities fully comply with design drawings, specs, and the Quality Management System.

You will coordinate with fabrication personnel and QA to document each phase and ensure traceability. In collaboration with project teams, you will facilitate inspections, bolt testing, weld mapping, material tracking, and final inspection records using tablet-based QC software, with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in construction or fabrication QC; related four-year degree may qualify.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or D1.5 welding codes and inspection requirements.
• CWI credential preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing quality standards across fabrication activities.
• Coordinate with management to maintain QC policies and plans.
• Assist with project-specific QC plans and documentation.
• Train staff on tablet-based QC software and documentation.
• Inspect and record delivered materials for compliance.
• Check items for non-conformances and document results.
• Perform inventory inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Attend preconstruction meetings to set QC expectations.
• Support QC Manager with in-process inspection, bolt testing, weld mapping, material tracking, logs, welding machine verification, painting QC, and final inspections.
