Job summary

A leading manufacturing recruiter is seeking an Operations Manager to lead fabrication-driven production in Northern Virginia. This role offers executive visibility and the chance to shape operational strategies. Ideal candidates will have proven operations leadership experience, hands-on skills in welding and CNC machining, and a focus on implementing lean practices. Compensation includes a base salary of $100,000–$150,000 plus bonuses and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Proven operations leadership experience in fabrication-heavy manufacturing.
• Hands-on background with welding, sheet metal, CNC, or complex assemblies.
• Track record of implementing KPIs and driving operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fabrication and production operations across welding, sheet metal, and CNC machining.
• Establish and drive KPIs including on-time delivery, efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices within a fabrication and build-to-order environment.
