Leggett & Platt Salisbury is seeking a Fabrication Maintenance to support the Maintenance team. You will assist in maintaining and repairing electrical and electronic components and equipment, support mechanics, read prints, and perform fabrication tasks to ensure machinery and facility run smoothly.

The role requires good communication, reading/writing, math, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend shifts included as needed; a strong team environment with a focus on safety and reliability

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and interpret job write-ups.
• Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Aufgaben

• Repairs, modifies, designs, lays out, or fabricates (with or without blueprints).
• Cuts, fits, and welds metal using gas and electric welding equipment; performs skilled brazing and soldering; and uses a variety of machines, such as power saws, grinders, and drills, in completing work.
• Interpret prints, drawings, plans, or job write-ups and apply fabrication or welding techniques to complete projects.
• Assist mechanics in production repairs/installation, and removal of equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor.
