Leggett & Platt Inc. in Salisbury, NC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will help keep our flooring products manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably, prioritizing continuous improvement.

You’ll troubleshoot electrical systems, install and repair motors and controls, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance on production lines. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial electrical maintenance, strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
Preventive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Forklift certification capability.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic systems.
Install and repair motors, controls, wiring, sensors, relays, and other electrical equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components.
Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs as needed.
Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
