FabricationMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

MaintenanceSouderton, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:Maintains systems and equipment, restores, repairs, rebuilds or replaces faulty or inoperative components and parts; supervises staff and makes on-the-spot decisions.

Duties:

• Scheduling maintenance, coaching staff, planning, communicating job expectations, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews to meet operational standards; implementing production, productivity improvements, and resolving problems.
• Evaluating the functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment by collaborating with operating departments; identifying issues and requirements.
• Implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Maintaining the function and reliability of facility systems, including operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components.
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures.
• Managing maintenance department costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent and Plant Engineer.
• Driving employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goals.
• Participating in the plant HAZMAT team.
• Scheduling and directing workforce projects, assigning tasks to personnel, tracking attendance in the Kronos system, and correcting errors as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Supervision, staffing, strategic planning, troubleshooting, job knowledge, computer skills, and ability to learn SAP system.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, with flexible hours and some weekends.
• Proficiency in performing general mathematical calculations.
• Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage conflicts.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
