Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Basic Machine Helper to support brake presses, punch turrets and automated laser machines in the Fabrication Department. You will assist with setup, loading/unloading, and keep the machine area clean and organized to ensure smooth production processes.

Starting pay is $19 per hour. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and a willingness to learn; prescreen assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment accurately.
• Assist in setting up, loading and unloading machines and helping operators.
• Stack finished product per specifications and assist in material handling.
• Read and interpret simple technical drawings or blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load brake presses, punch turrets and automated lasers.
• Support tooling setup and maintain clean work areas around machines.
• Perform computer data entry related to production tasks.
• Label materials properly and assist in routine quality checks.
