Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Fabrication Lead to oversee a team of 8–10 in our fabrication department. This role ensures on-time, on-budget production while enforcing safety and quality standards across the shop floor.

You will mentor staff, review timesheets, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize processes and meet project milestones. Strong blueprint reading and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fabrication team of 8–10 people to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
• Review and correct timesheets; monitor performance and attendance.
• Coordinate workloads to align with production schedules and deadlines.
• Serve as the first point of contact for policy questions from crew.
• Inspect material lay-out, equipment setup, and tooling for accuracy.
