Job summary

Avantor in Hillsboro, OR seeks a detail-oriented associate to support our Lab and Production Services. You will excel in material handling, inventory replenishment, and customer service while following strict safety and cleanroom protocols to ensure uninterrupted Fab operations.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, manage on-site stock, and process orders using the Intel system, contributing to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within Avantor’s lab environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate in cleanroom/controlled environments and follow safety protocols.
• Prepare shipping docs and ensure regulatory compliance for packaging.
• Manage on-site inventory including consigned and third-party stock.
• Provide daily customer service to support Fab operations and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians on material order requirements and preventative maintenance.
