Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Redmond, OR is seeking a manufacturing associate to support layout, material handling and general shop duties. You will load, move and stage raw materials, assist with forming large parts and operate a forklift as needed.

This role requires basic math, good manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Several shifts are available with differential pay to reward after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, stack and transport raw material and tools.
• Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas.
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts.
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts.
• Operates a forklift.
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment.

Job Description:

• Holds tape measure, and marks reference points to assist in layout
• Loads, stacks and transports raw material and tools
• Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts
• Operates a forklift
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment
• Posses a mechanical aptitude
• Have basic math skills
• Able to work independently and with others
• Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Forklift operations (preferred).

Starting Rate: $21.50 with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience and qualifications.

A Shift: Mon-Thurs 5AM-3:30PM
B Shift: Mon-Thurs 4PM-2:30AM Includes a 12% shift differential
C Shift: Fri-Sun 5AM-5PM Includes a 12% shift differential

D Shift: Fri-Sun 5PM-5AM Includes a 15% shift differential

Essential Physical Functions:

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
