Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I to support daily production by loading files, preparing and adjusting equipment, and monitoring performance. The role requires collaboration with teammates to meet production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

Starting rate is $23.10/hour with potential increases based on experience and qualifications. The position involves physical tasks, PPE use, and data documentation in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to operate a computer and basic input devices.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.


• Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.


• Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Starting Rate: $23.10 with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Essential Mental and Physical Functions:

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.


• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift


• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery


• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices


• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment:

Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

• Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting


• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes


• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots


• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing


• Compliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatory
