Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a versatile shop worker to support layout, material handling, and equipment operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assist journeymen, handle raw materials, and help maintain parts tagging and quality checks.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work well with others in a team setting. Forklift experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Possesses a mechanical aptitude.
• Has basic math skills.
• Works well in a team and independently when needed.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Holds tape measure and marks reference points to assist layout.
• Loads, stacks and transports raw material and tools.
• Picks up and transports scrap form from work areas.
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts.
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts.
• Operates a forklift.
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment.

• Holds tape measure, and marks reference points to assist in layout

• Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas


• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts


• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts


• Operates a forklift


• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment


• Posses a mechanical aptitude


• Have basic math skills


• Able to work independently and with others


• Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors


• Able to lift 50lbs.


• Forklift operations (preferred).

Essential Physical Functions:

• Lift up to 50lbs.


• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.


• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
