Job summary

AAON in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a Machine Operator I to support daily production on the shop floor. You will load production files, prepare machines, monitor performance, perform quality inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and repetitive motion, and basic computer use. Starting wage is $23.10 per hour, with potential for higher based on experience and qualifications.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Essential Mental And Physical Functions

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery
• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment

Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

• Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
• Compliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatory
