Precision Custom Components (PCC) in York, PA, now part of the BWXT family, seeks a Fabricator Helper to join the on-site fabrication team on 2nd shift (3:30pm - 11:55pm). This entry-level role supports material prep, layout, fitting, assembly, grinding, and cleaning as you learn blueprint interpretation and fabrication techniques on high-precision components for regulated industries.

You will work under qualified fabricators, perform duties safely, and participate in training and qualification

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn fabrication processes.
• Willingness to complete required training and qualification programs.
• Must follow safety requirements and PPE guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with solid organizational skills.
• Team player but capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with movement and handling of materials and components.
• Learn to operate material handling equipment under supervision.
• Set up and breakdown of workstations and fabrication equipment.
• Adhere to safety, quality procedures, and work instructions.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with fabricators, welders, supervisors, and engineers to support production schedules.
