Job summary

Precision Custom Components (PCC), a division of BWXT, is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our York, PA facility. This on-site role reports to a supervisor and focuses on basic analysis, measurement, and evaluation tasks essential to improving operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop layouts, and support capital expenditure justifications, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• No prior industrial engineering experience required.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic work measurement assignments.
• Analyzes and suggests improved methods, systems, procedures and material flow.
• Prepares cost estimates and comparisons of existing alternatives using established procedures.
• Prepares manpower estimates and related budget requirements on specific assignments.
• Assists in developing material handling and plant and office layout requirements.
• Interinterfaces with manufacturing personnel, project engineering, quality engineering and other operating functions to prepare personnel and material activity measurements.
• Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure justifications.
