Job summary

Trion IAQ, a business of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., seeks a Fabrication Production Supervisor at our Sanford, NC facility. You will lead day-to-day fabrication operations and manage safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include supervising cells (press brake, laser, saw, forming, welding), planning workloads, enforcing 5S and standard work, and coordinating maintenance. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Materials to improve throughput.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of production supervision in metal fabrication.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings and apply GD&T.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/production scheduling.
• Applied math and practical problem-solving.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication cells (press brake, laser, saw, forming, welding).
• Plan, assign, and direct work to meet schedules and on-time delivery.
• Ensure safe operations; reinforce 5S, standard work, PPE usage.
• Monitor output, first-pass yield, and appearance; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance and verify tooling readiness.
• Review travelers/prints; verify parts meet specifications before release.
• Partner with Quality on MRB and containment activities.
• Collaborate with Materials/Planning to sequence work and minimize bottlenecks.
• Coach and develop hourly team members; conduct reviews.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, cost.
