Job summary

Trion IAQ, a business of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., seeks a Fabrication Production Supervisor to lead operations at its Sanford, NC plant. You will supervise fabrication cells, coordinate safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include planning workloads, directing daily work, maintaining 5S and standard work, and mentoring hourly staff. Strong reading of drawings, GD&T, and ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production supervision in metal fabrication environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints with GD&T.
• Experience with ERP/production scheduling systems.
• Strong communication and leadership across shifts.
• Applied math and problem solving on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication operations (press brake, laser, saw, forming, welding).
• Plan, assign, direct work to meet schedules and delivery goals.
• Ensure safety, 5S, standard work, and PPE compliance.
• Monitor output, first-pass yield, and appearance; reduce scrap.
• Coordinate maintenance and tooling readiness with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Review travelers/routers and verify parts meet specs before release.
• Collaborate with Quality, Materials, and Planning for flow and constraints.
• Coach and develop hourly team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
