Job summary

Seventh Form Studio in Long Island City, NY seeks a student or recent graduate to join as a designer, drafter, and maker—turning design concepts into clear, buildable drawings while learning how drawings translate into real objects in our shop.

You’ll work beside the studio owner, gaining hands-on experience from design through fabrication, with opportunities to develop CAD packages, fabrication detailing, CNC preparation, and project coordination within a small team.

Qualifications

• Assist with shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and revisions.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Help develop drawing packages and files for CNC machining and shop production.
