Job summary

The Aagard Group LLC is hiring a Working Lead for our fabrication cell in Alexandria, MN. You will oversee daily production, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and quality while mentoring teammates.

Responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment, troubleshooting issues, and guiding the team to deliver on-time results. Strong CAD and Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology + 1 year of fabrication experience or equivalent combo
• Proven ability to set up and operate fabrication equipment
• Ability to read CAD drawings and use Aagard software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for assigned work, coordinating the daily activities of the fabrication cell.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure skill development and role proficiency.
• Remove obstacles, solve problems, and empower cell members to perform their best.
• Prioritize and complete production tasks on time, maintaining a can’t-believe-they-pulled-that-off mindset for expedited projects.
• Operate fabrication equipment proficiently to meet production needs and address equipment issues.
• Assist team members with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to parts, tooling, and processes.
• Address and resolve equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
