Job summary

The Aagard Group LLC is seeking a Senior Fabrication Supervisor to lead our fabrication team and drive performance, safety, and quality across all shifts. You will hire, coach, mentor, and engage staff while ensuring processes meet stringent standards.

Ideal candidates will read CAD drawings, set up CNC equipment, and manage production with strong organizational and communication skills. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with on-site responsibilities in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred.
• 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in interviewing, performance management, coaching, and developing teams is advantageous.
• Proficient in reading CAD drawings and blueprints; demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
• Experience in machinery fabrication and measuring instruments.
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to communicate professionally with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fabrication team members; hire, coach, mentor, and engage the team.
• Train and develop team members to reach full potential and promote Aagard culture.
• Ensure safety and quality by maintaining a clean, safe work environment and monitoring metrics.
• Keep projects moving by completing machine units and rework on schedule.
• Respond quickly to customer needs with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment to meet production goals; troubleshoot issues.
