Job summary

Powell is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility. Four 10s Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am.

You will support fab or assembly activities and drive improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality, coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering and shop leadership. You will develop and maintain procedures, tooling plans, and training materials, while assisting with equipment troubleshooting and parts control to sustain efficient

Qualifications

• Must be organized, self-starter with strong problem solving.
• High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing.
• Good English written and verbal.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support fab or assembly activities for productivity, quality, and execution.
• Lead fabrication/assembly improvement initiatives.
• Develop procedures, fixtures, tooling, and training.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and parts procurement.
• Lead projects in support of fabrication or assembly.
