Job summary

Powell is an engineered-to-order manufacturer of switchgear and electrical equipment for the power generation industry. The Senior Process Improvement Specialist will support fab or assembly activities and lead continuous improvement projects on the shop floor, coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering and leadership to optimize processes and tooling.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, documentation of JHAs and procedures, and setup of training materials.

Qualifications

• Organized, self-starter with strong problem-solving ability.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience; basic English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Support fab or assembly activities—productivity, quality, and process execution.
• Lead improvement initiatives for fabrication or assembly operations.
• Provide root-cause analysis, solutions, and sustainment plans; inform ME and leadership.
