Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking an Inspector to join our manufacturing team in North Carolina. Under the direction of the Inspection Supervisor, you will inspect finished fabric, ensure a safe work environment, and support lean manufacturing practices.

You will follow SOPs, record defects in the inspection system, cut and tag samples, and communicate issues to leadership. A high school diploma or GED is required, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately and consistently follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, sitting or standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to grasp concepts presented within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished fabric according to SOP and report defects.
• Record defects in the basic inspection system and notify supervisor of questionable material.
• Ensure a safe work environment and identify training opportunities to reduce accidents and injuries.
