Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality plans across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in a Lean manufacturing environment; strong attention to detail, punctuality, and safety are essential. You will participate in quality checks, document results, and support continual improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 6S/Safety Committee and document minutes and action items.
• Monitor and measure product quality to meet customer requirements and ensure timely duties.
• Communicate the quality policy to all people at the facility.
• Perform timely quality checks per our quality plans.
• Notify supervisor of issues to correct problems that affect machine performance or quality.
• Control non-conforming product until the deficiency is corrected and verify solutions.
• Adhere to Quality/Safety requirements and keep a clean, orderly workplace.
• Engage in Continual Improvement processes for manufacturing and business processes.
• Support waste reduction training and awareness.
