Job summary

CDW seeks a Consulting Data Architect to design and deliver Microsoft Fabric architectures across Power BI, data engineering, and Azure AI. You will lead practical AI-enabled solution patterns, create reusable templates, and guide project teams through solution delivery and client enablement.

The role requires extensive experience with enterprise data platforms, governance, and strong communication to stakeholders across geographies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years IT Infrastructure experience or 11+ years with cross-brand projects.
• Hands-on design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions (Data Engineering, OneLake, Direct Lake, semantic models, pipelines).
• Experience with Generative AI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, Copilot, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation).
• Strong data governance, security, RBAC, and auditability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Microsoft Fabric architectures integrating OneLake, Power BI, data engineering, and Azure AI services.
• Lead AI-enabled solution patterns including retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search.
• Create proofs of concept, accelerators, reference architectures, and templates for production-ready outcomes.
• Lead project teams and coordinate across departments and clients to deliver value.
