Job summary

CDW seeks a Consulting Data Architect to drive innovative AI-enabled data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll lead architecture design, governance, and client enablement across Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Power BI, and Generative AI patterns, shaping scalable data platforms and real-time analytics.

You will mentor teams, develop reusable accelerators, and craft business cases and proposals that demonstrate value. Travel to client sites and CDW locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including large enterprise cross-brand projects.
• Experience with enterprise data platform implementation, analytics, and AI-enabled solution delivery.
• Hands-on design, build, and optimization of Microsoft Fabric solutions (Data Factory, OneLake, Direct Lake, pipelines, notebooks, Power BI).
• Experience with Generative AI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Copilot, embeddings, prompting, AI service integration).
• Strong data engineering and implementation skills (SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark, ETL, CI/CD).
• Ability to define data governance, AI governance, security, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Microsoft Fabric architectures with OneLake, Power BI, data engineering, and real-time analytics.
• Lead development of AI-enabled solution patterns (RAG, vector search, embedding pipelines, prompt orchestration).
• Build proofs of concept, accelerators, reference architectures, and templates for production-ready outcomes.
• Lead project teams and coordinate client and coworker efforts in design and development.
• Create business cases, financial justification, and solution benefit content for proposals.
• Provide cross-project oversight to ensure synergy across solutions delivery teams.
• Identify budget issues and escalate as needed; ensure quality for SOWs.
