Job summary

Artic Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design scalable data solutions around the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem in Redmond, WA. You will build Power BI reports, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data models for client projects.

Responsibilities include optimizing T-SQL/KQL queries, leveraging Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake, and collaborating with stakeholders while ensuring data governance and security. Salary range: $115,000–$120,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Power BI development and data engineering.
• Strong T-SQL and KQL query optimization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric tools and Spark/PySpark.
• Power BI certification (PL-300) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
• Write and tune complex T-SQL and KQL queries for Synapse and SQL Server.
• Model data with star/snowflake schemas for warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Integrate diverse data sources and ensure governance, security, and privacy.
