Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in Houston, TX is seeking an Auditor for Assurance (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) at Manager level.

You will address strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges for corporate clients, lead GAAP/IFRS considerations, and oversee cross-functional teams on transformation, compliance, and reporting initiatives. The role requires a strong background in US GAAP and IFRS, CPA certification, and ability to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Law, Management or related field with 5+ years of progressive work experience; or Master’s degree with 4+ years.
• 2 years in providing financial accounting and advisory services or GAAP conversions for multinational clients.
• 2 years in planning, execution, and reporting audits under US GAAP/GAAS or in financial reporting accounting services.
• 2 years in supervising FAAS teams of two or more staff and with SEC financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist corporate clients with strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges.
• Provide financial accounting, audit, and advisory services to corporate clients.
• Lead GAAP/IFRS conversions and finance function transformation initiatives.
• Oversee audits and financial reporting processes for large multinational clients.
• Develop client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
