Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Field Technician D in Honolulu, HI. The role involves field installation and maintenance of networking and telecom equipment for FAA programs across the Hawaiian Islands.

The technician will travel to remote customer sites, work independently, and coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues. A high school diploma plus extensive relevant experience is required, along with security clearances and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent plus extensive field experience.
• DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Experience with fiber, routers/switches, and telecom test equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation and maintenance on Networking/Telecommunication equipment at customer locations.
• Travel to and work at FAA-related customer sites in Hawaii.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory; document activities.
