Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician D in Honolulu, HI to install, troubleshoot, and maintain networking and telecommunications equipment at customer sites, supporting FAA programs and various systems.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and the ability to travel to remote locations within the assigned area. On-call duties and occasional deployments outside the area may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 8+ years of relevant field experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate with 4+ years related experience.
• Must obtain and maintain a DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventive maintenance on networking/telecom equipment at customer sites.
• Provide field support for FAA-related programs; work with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues.
• Travel to remote sites within assigned area and occasional out-of-area deployments; operate on-call as needed.
