Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician D to install, repair, test and maintain networking and telecommunication equipment at FAA customer sites around the Hawaiian Islands. The role requires daily commuting to customer locations and independent work with minimal supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent with significant relevant experience and be able to obtain security clearances. On-call availability and the ability to lift up to 32 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on networking/telecommunication equipment at customer locations.
• Work independently and travel to customer sites within assigned area; occasional travel outside area.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders; document activities during customer visits.
