Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power related) with 4+ years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and arc-flash studies, and able to obtain Public Trust clearance. Some travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power related field and 4+ years of experience, or master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience conducting and interpreting arc flash studies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to organize documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to review contractor submissions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design electrical systems for FAA buildings and structures.
• Perform on-site surveys to develop to-scale designs with exact specs.
• Prepare construction drawings, site-specific specs, and contract documents.
• Coordinate design components with a multi-disciplinary team and conduct inspections.
• Develop Integrated Risk Management Checklists and ORM documentation.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet milestones and deadlines.
