Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking an Engineer to support the FAA’s Engineering Services Terminal team. The role requires planning, coordination, and independent execution on complex assignments, with on-site work in Des Plaines, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4–8 years of experience; Master’s with 2–6 years acceptable.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; skilled in scheduling tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site surveys and develop scale designs and reports.
• Prepare AutoCAD construction drawings and site specifications.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for site modifications and new construction.
• Manage project milestones, risk registers, and oversight of safety plans.
• Support on-site construction meetings and inspections.
