Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services, LLC seeks a Manager of Maintenance to supervise hangar/line technicians, parts staff, and contract maintenance teams. You will coordinate maintenance with personnel, other units, and customers, ensuring adherence to FAA rules and company policies.

You will drive schedules, supervise inspections, and maintain safety and quality through strong leadership. The role requires weekend work, night shifts, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid FAA A&P certificate; must meet 14 CFR 65.83.
• Minimum of five years maintenance experience in Part 121/135/145, including at least three years in a director-level role.
• Five years of budgetary oversight experience.
• Minimum of three years of accountable manager-type experience with OpSpecs authority.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations under 14 CFR Parts 43,65,91,121,135,145.
• Understanding of Part 135 maintenance manuals; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends with flexible travel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with FAA Certificate Management Office and maintain positive relations.
• Lead and direct policies, procedures, maintenance, and staff.
• Coordinate aircraft induction and shop schedules for repair functions.
• Guide maintenance personnel in diagnosing and repairing aircraft per data and safety rules.
• Ensure work is inspected and records released properly.
