SpaceX in the United States (Starlink) is seeking an Aviation Certification Engineer to own the FAA certification process from application to acceptance, and to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the hardware design cycle.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to produce certification deliverables, test plans, and substantiation reports on tight timelines, manage multiple concurrent efforts, and communicate progress to senior leadership while maintaining rigorous

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Produce certification deliverables aligned with FAA regulations for supplemental type certification applications.
• Drive certification process improvements to reduce overhead and improve schedules.
• Manage multiple concurrent certification efforts with regular updates to senior management.
• Act as subject matter expert on FAA certification with internal partners.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure regulatory compliance early in design.
