Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a logistics professional to assure inventory sufficiency for mission requirements across the life cycle of supported systems at Nellis AFB, NV. You will manage asset positions, coordinate with suppliers, 3PLs, and customer locations, and allocate assets under PBL and TSPR contracts.

The role requires standing expertise in MICAPS and high-priority requisition support, along with data analysis, reporting, and budgeting for readiness and performance.

Qualifications

• 7 years of combined experience in Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Inventory Management.
• Experience with MICAPS and high-priority requisition support.
• Familiarity with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or supply chain management concepts and performance requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of combined experience with Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Inventory Management
• Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) / High-priority requisition support and component repair cycle management
• Experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with data analysis and metrics development

Desired Skills

• Experience with 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft
• Field Service Rep experience; international preferred with Import/Export customs experience
• Knowledge of the following management systems: SAP and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
• Experience training and supervising a diverse workforce
• Hazmat shipping certified
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Information

Total-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00
