Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and power systems, seeks a CAIPT Leader to manage Externals hardware and sustainment across a cross-functional team. You will drive hardware support strategies, mitigate risks, and coordinate with engineering and sustainment to ensure availability.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of engineering or program management experience, with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of experience in engineering or program management or an Advanced degree with 7 years engineering or program management experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Owner of cradle to grave sustainment items on Externals hardware.
• Lead the cross-functional team ensuring hardware support and reducing program risks.
• Understands and communicates hardware concerns to all team members to ensure timely resolution.
• Expose gaps and identify solutions for hardware supportability.
• Present at various meetings to update the larger audience of updates and issues on a regular basis, as well as representing PW as a primary customer contact.
• Understands roles and responsibilities of all CAIPT team members.
