Job summary

Hermeus is seeking an MRO Propulsion Engineer to own the F100 engine maintenance lifecycle and drive refurbishment programs. The role partners with engineers and technicians to keep propulsion systems performing at peak levels in a fast-paced environment.

You will need a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in F100 MRO or similar engines, plus 2+ years in propulsion hardware design and strong fundamentals in core engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of F100 MRO experience, or similar thrust engine.
• 2+ years designing flight propulsion hardware.
• Strong fundamentals in combustion, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, structural dynamics, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Own all or a significant portion of the F100 MRO lifecycle
• Collaborate daily with cross-disciplinary engineers and technicians
• Drive high-quality, safe, and efficient refurbishment processes
• Support testing campaigns and engine acceptance activities
• Contribute to a fast-paced environment where engineering and execution come together
