Job summary

Johnson Volvo Cars Charlotte seeks an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to guide customers through financing options, present products, and coordinate with lenders to complete transactions accurately and compliantly.

You will balance strong financial performance with professionalism and exceptional customer service, working closely with Sales and dealership teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires weekend availability and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of automotive financing.
Experience structuring and submitting transactions to lenders.
Strong consultative sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working with dealership technology, lender platforms, and F&I systems.
Strong judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Management, lenders, and other dealership departments.
A valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable under Company standards.
Availability to work a retail automotive schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with customers, Sales Consultants, Sales Management, and lending partners.
Conduct a consultative interview to understand financing needs and preferences.
Review credit information and structure transactions.
Submit transactions to lenders and secure competitive financing terms.
Maintain relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lending partners.
Explain financing options, terms, and coverage clearly.
Present F&I products through a professional menu process.
Explain product coverage, costs, and options transparently.
Complete contracts, disclosures, and lender documents accurately.
Monitor contracts in transit and resolve documentation or funding issues.
Stay current on lender programs, dealership products, and manufacturer offerings.
Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth transition from selection to delivery.
Follow up with customers to build loyalty and referrals.
