Job summary

Thornton Chevrolet is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused individual for the Automotive Finance Assistant / F&I Coordinator role. No automotive or finance experience is required, and we will provide training to the right person who enjoys helping customers and staying detail-oriented.

This customer-facing position combines administrative duties with opportunities to grow into the Finance & Insurance department as your training progresses.

Qualifications

• No automotive or finance experience required.
• Must be outgoing, organized, and customer-focused.
• Willing to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Package completed vehicle deals for lender funding.
• Submit contracts to lenders and follow up until funded.
• Review deal jackets for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and remit vehicle service contracts, warranties, and other protection products.
• Submit manufacturer incentive claims for new vehicle sales.
• Assist customers with completing and signing purchase and finance documents.
• Work closely with the Sales, Finance, and Accounting departments.
• Maintain organized and accurate records while ensuring compliance with dealership and lender requirements.
